Everyone’s Bees

The bees landed at Foundation Skate Park in the River Arts District in Asheville, NC in the summer of 2016. The idea of making skateboards came about through a conversation with The Good of the Hive's extraordinary printmaker, Joshua Niven. We now have the Swarmboard line and more to come in the future. In these days I was very interested in exploring different ways to reach varying groups of people. Skateboarding has always mystified me, and this seemed like a great way to fill out the idea that the bees are everyone’s.
